Lash lift, also known as LVL Lashes is a lash perming treatment that sets your natural eyelashes in a lifted upright position making your eyes look more open and youthful.

The treatment takes around 50 minutes and requires no extensions just your natural lashes. During the treatment your natural lashes are lifted from the root upwards, giving you longer and fuller looking lashes for up to 6-8 weeks.

At Shumaila’s we follow a 4 step protocol to achieve perfectly lifted lashes, these are:

Step 1: Lift
With all the lashes neatly bonded, a lifting cream is applied which allows the structure and shape of your lashes to change and be lifted at the root

Step 2: Volumise
Once this has been removed, a neutralising cream is applied which seals your lashes into their new shape

Step 3: Tint
A lash tint is then applied which darkens the lashes and adds volume and length

Lash lift is a low maintenance treatment suitable for everyone that wants to lift their eyelashes upward, it is suitable for people with short or long lashes.

The most dramatic results of lash lift are achieved on people that have super downward pointing eyelashes.

At Shumaila’s during a lash lift treatment your therapist spends 50 mins manipulating each and every one of your eyelash hairs, so they look separated to create volume and length (like in the video above). The lashes are set from their root in the most upright curved position, and your eyelashes stay this way for over a month. In comparison, when using a lash curler, your eyelashes go back to their natural position as soon as you wash them. As well as that, each eyelash is not separated individually, each hair may be criss-crossing or overlapping.

Yes, a patch test is required at-least 48 hours before having your lash lift treatment at Shumaila’s.
